About LJ

LJ Phelan is an artist originally from Co. Laois, now based in Skerries where she works from her studio in Ardgillan Castle. She creates both digital and acrylic pieces, inspired by Ireland’s coastlines, landscapes, and the places we feel connected to.

With a background in animation and graphic design, LJ’s style has naturally evolved into something bold, colourful, and graphic. She loves capturing familiar scenes in a fresh and  modern way, creating work that feels both nostalgic and uplifting.
