Having grown up beside the wild Atlantic in Donegal and now living on the East coast, Margaret’s work is greatly inspired by the beauty of nature, the places she has visited, the seasons and most of all colour, light and joy.

Having always loved painting from a young age, Margaret returned to her passion in 2018. Much of her work is intuitive, using a painting process in which images and stories emerge organically from the deep source of creativity within. 

It is a joyful process, in the flow of creativity, a combination of meditation and mindfulness. 

She also enjoys creating more representational work, especially the challenge of capturing the beauty and essence of nature.

Always learning, exploring and evolving.
