About Violeta
My work is an exploration of nature, emotion, and the landscapes of the imagination. I am drawn to the quiet magic found in everyday moments—the changing light, organic forms, and the feelings and memories that connect us to ourselves and the world around us.
With a background in architecture, I approach each piece with an awareness of composition and structure, while allowing intuition and emotion to guide the creative process. Working across watercolour, acrylic, and ink, I enjoy the unique qualities of each medium and the different ways they can express movement, atmosphere, and feeling.
My inspiration often comes from nature, mythology, dreams, and the enduring presence of the inner child. Through layered imagery and symbolic elements, I seek to create works that evoke a sense of wonder, reflection, and emotional connection. Rather than offering fixed narratives, my paintings invite viewers to bring their own experiences and interpretations, creating a personal dialogue with the artwork.
Alongside my studio practice, I am passionate about encouraging creativity in others. Since founding From A to Art in 2015, I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults, fostering confidence, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
